Al Hamman
Al began his marketing consultancy in 1999, and has worked with clients including The Original Ceylon Tea Company, Gladder’s Gourmet, Face-2-Face Gifts, Dell Computer (MS/SAP/Oracle Co-Marketing), US Market Development Group, and PGA Tour event promotion of the K-mart Greater Greensboro Open.
Prior to his consulting experience, Al served as marketing director of Lumatec Industries, a manufacturer of personal lighted gift products including the NiteOwl Book Light, FlashCard Flashlight and more. From product development through naming, packaging and launch, he was instrumental in the company’s six-fold growth.
With over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing, the projects with which Al has been involved run the gamut of professional marketing communications. From sales management and simple collateral material development assignments, to complete product development and launch campaigns, Al has demonstrated an eagerness to roll up his sleeves and immerse himself in the tactical as well as the strategic aspects of campaign development, management and execution.
In addition to a traditional sales and marketing background, Al is also a graduate of The Player's Workshop of The Second City in Chicago, where he studied stage improvisation and creative writing. Additional credits include Children's Theatre of The Second City, Athenaeum Theater Company, Chicago Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and numerous print, TV, and film appearances.
Stephen Newton
Immersed in multimedia art and technology since 1993 as Ringling College of Art & Design's new media creative director, Steve pioneered one of the first interactive development methodologies. In 1996, Steve started RAZAR Interactive, a full service interactive agency, where he attracted national clients like Serengeti Eyewear, Xerox, the American Red Cross and the University of Arizona. Since moving to the Tri-Cities area, he has remained active and up-to-date in the latest is social and interactive media to provide cutting edge results.
Phillippe Juglar
Phillippe and his associate, Jean-Emmanuel Jourde, have extensive international business experience working in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America and includes Colombian Coffee promotion through the Colombian Coffee Growers Association. Philippe has published numerous articles on international trade and economic studies for government groups, NGOs and trade associations. He is a frequent guest speaker for conferences and meetings worldwide and is fluent n French, English, and Spanish. With 33 years of business consulting experience with a focus on agro business, he is a powerful resource for USMEP.
Judith Halleran
Her most recent position was Senior Vice President for Global Operations where she was responsible for overall management of IESC trade-oriented business development programs around the world. She designed IESC’s Fast Track Trade program approach, a featured strategy of the Jordan US Business Partnership program and an integral part of all IESC export trade and competitiveness programming worldwide.
Prior to IESC, her career included positions in the marketing and advertising fields, including almost 10 years as a principal of a marketing and advertising consultancy.
Debbie Strance
Debbie Strance has spent more than 15 years in marketing working with firms from start-up to Fortune 500. She has spent extensive time traveling the globe to team up with strategic partners, attend tradeshows, meet with suppliers, and work on for-profit, as well as not-for- profit, programs. Over the years, she has collaborated with Al frequently as both a colleague and client. Debbie has worked on business-to-business as well as business-to-consumer projects in the gift, food, technology and services industries. She brings extensive experience in sales support services, lead generation and management, and event planning and promotions. Debbie has been awarded a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Global Business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
